However, despite an unattractive display of football 3points is 3points and is vital to keep the pressure on the Gulls who are soaring high at the Top. Here are some of the pictures from the match, including the shots joyous celebration.

Halifax At Home
Well Waddock was right to tell his players it was a 95 minute game and his squad of young & atheletic players grabbed the 3 points in the dieing seconds - a good lesson to those who left early that the game isn't over until it's over! In all fairness any shots fan at the match could probably appreciate how gutted the Halifax fans were to come this way and see there side lose for a second consecutive time at The Rec in such similar fashion. In the 95th minute the shots only second real on goal chance created by the upcoming youngster Danny Hylton (the player I had just sponsorsed at the start of kick off! and one who looks sure to do well within the future) and a great run from Kirk Hudson saw Jonny Dixon finish well, claim the three points and send the Halifax players crashing down to the ground thinking how a well earned point evaded them. On a further note it was great to the shots players reaction as they bundled Jonny into the prized turf of the Rec.

Burton Away
So last saturday saw a trip to Staffordshire and to the Pirelli stadium home of the mighty Brewers. It was a disappointing away game and the only enjoyment out of it was travelling in first class from Reading to Burton Station. Most of the 200-250 fans would have wished for a more entertaining display rather than watching the shots miserly defence and outmuscled midfield struggle against a fair display from the NCBA (still not sure what that stands for though).
The Pirelli stadium is definitely one of the better stadiums of the blue square premier, although possibly needs a bit more colour to it!
Here are a few pics of last saturday - not that its one to remember! (click to enlarge)

The lads coming out on the pitch to train. Despite the frail observations of one Aldershot fan with us who thought the pitch was rather narrow, it was actually quite wide - perhaps why Waddock chose to play Hudson and Soares.
New Pics!Burton's yellow army.

Stevenage Away
So a trip to stevenage that ended in a 3-1 defeat. To be fair the scoreline was flattering for stevenage as the Shots had little luck throughout the game.
It Was a good turnout by the fans and here are my pics from a rather eventful day!
Firstly here are a few pictures that summarise the asthetic appearance and atmosphere of stevenage.

Another box shaped, concrete building in the heart of the town. The 4x4 seems out of place here!
Now some pictures from within Broadhall Way.
Finally here are some pictures of the Emirates on the way back from Stevenage as we enter into better society.
